Why this blog?

This blog aims to be a space of discussion and exchange on the topics of agriculture, asset accumulation and women in agriculture. Its contributors are the PhD students and researchers involved in the FATE research project, although other contributions might be accepted as well.

The FATE team is spread in four developing countries (Bolivia, Laos, Rwanda and Nepal) and studies four majors export crops (Quinoa, Cardamom, Coffee and Beans) in order to understand new models of rural employment and their influence on asset-building, well-being and women empowerment and capabilities.
